The Woodward Presbyterian Church, also fondly named “St. Curvy” (due to the circular balcony), was a popular abandoned church in Detroit to photograph. It was definitely one of my favorite, as it had much of its stained glass intact, if not in the best condition. The church’s downfall started in the 1990’s and has not been used as a church since then. It has, however, been used as a set for the movie Alex Cross.
