Matt McAuliffe of McAuliffe Sales reached out because he was looking for industrial images of Detroit to hang in their newly-renovated office space in Hazel Park. They work with plants in the industrial field, and initially found me through images I captured of Zug Island and downriver Detroit.

They purchased a 51 x 72 image I took of the Federal Nakagawa freighter while aboard the J.W. Westcott, Detroit's mail boat (with its own zip code!). I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to their office through a patron at an art fair, and was invited to take a ride on the boat. It was an amazing experience! This photo was captured while we were circling around the freighter, after dropping off the pilot (there are specially trained pilots that drive the freighters through the Detroit river channel).

This is also the largest image I have had printed and hung as well! Below are images of it on their wall.
